Hello and Welcome! Here is a little bit about me! I graduated in December of 2013 from Pittsburg State University, with majors in both Physical Education and Spanish Education and a minor in Psychology. In May of 2016, I graduated again from PSU with my Masters in Special Education and the Autism Spectrum Disorder Certificate. Currently, my full time position is teaching an Early Childhood and Elementary Autism Classroom at Westside Elementary in Pittsburg.
In the past, I have spent 5 years as gymnastics coach at the Pittsburg Family YMCA, been a Lead Instructor for a summer Youth Camp, a One-on-One After School Care worker position, the Power Tumbling Lead instructor for my local Parks and Recreation, taught High School Spanish for a year and a half and English for Speakers of other Languages at the Junior High Level. As if this wasn't enough, I have continued to help my husband start his own business, which fueled my desire to start Up Front Studio.
I've always loved art. Since I was a little girl, I loved to color and draw. Through the years, my skills developed, learning new things such as painting portraits, dreaming up some crazy projects and taking pictures. This has led me to develop an eye for color - a tool that is very useful in photography. I love to use natural light to get the best possible images. I also love adding some different actions to photos to truly make colors pop. :) Also, I have over 80 paintings all around the US and the World right now, thanks to the technology of social networking! :)
My clients mean everything to me. I love listening to your ideas and finding out what you want to gain from your shoot. It is very important that I gain and maintain a positive relationship with my clients. If you have seen a picture that you just LOVE, I'd love to try something like it to get you the pictures that you deserve! Thanks for visiting and I hope to get to work with you soon!
